[Hello my lovely ladies out there!!! I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to get this post up yesterday, if you watch my Instagram you would know that I'm currently in the hospital for the past 2 days due to some serve headaches! No matter what though, I want to stay consistent as possible so that's why I'm typing this post in the hospital. LOL! Never give up if you truly want something bad enough! So today's post is going to be all my purchases and re-purchases from the Sephora VIB sale which ended yesterday. This post was suppose to go up yesterday, but I wanted to at least show y'all all the AMAZING things I got! I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Also, I'm sorry that I wasn't allowed to upload the pics that I wanted for this blog post, but I'm in the hospital, and can't get pics!

[PRODUCTS]

1) YSL "RED CLASH"- This lipstick is is gorgeous! I've been getting a lot of questions about the lippies I wear in my Instagram pics here lately and this is it! It' such a beautiful lipstick. The only problem is that it's not really that "matte" it does have a gloss to it. So the only problem I had with the products is that it transfers to my teeth a lot ( as due most lipsticks.) This red lipstick reminds me of such holiday vibes. It's such a beautiful Christmas lip color. I love it!

 2) OUAI TEXTURE SPRAY- Y'all I literally swear by this texture spray. It really gives you that voluminous look that you want. I love big curly puffy hair.. lol! This product just really gives your hair the best volume that you can get. I've tried a lot of texture sprays and nothing compares to this one! So, if you want that kind of volume, then this is the product for you!

3)AMBIENT LIGHTING POWDER- Ahhh... This has become a "must-have" in my makeup routine. I first heard about it threw a YouTuber that I love to watch, and I immediately feel in LOVE! I can't even do my make-up now without this exact powder. It gives you such a inner glow- so if your someone who doesn't like that inner glow then that's fine. this product wouldn't be best for you! I'd say if you do like a really subtle glow then you can just use this product as your highlighter. It glows on so beautifully! I always top mine with something setting spray and then apply highlighter on top, just because I'm extra like that!

4) TOO FACED "BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION"- This foundation is my everyday go-to foundation. I've tried every foundation there is, and this one, my ladies is the BEST! It just gives you such a flawless base. It also has a little bit of "dewy" finish rather then a "matte" finish. So if you don't like the "dewy" foundation then you might not like this product, but how knows it's so good you might end up loving it! When I'm tan I wear shade "vanilla" and if I'm really fair I use the shade "Porcelain."

5)BANANA BRIGHT EYE CREAM - This eye cream is one of my top FAVS! It works so amazing as a makeup base. I feel that when I put this eye under my eyes before I start my foundation, my concealer doesn't crease anywhere near like it would be! I also use it first thing in the morning, and it gives me eyes a little boost. I've heard that if you have really intense bags then this product for you- it's more of just a boost under your eyes in the morning!

6)LILAH B "AGLOW MIST"-  I love this glow mist! It works as a setting spray that refreshes your skin and hydrates, but how I use it is  when I need to damp my beauty sponge with some fix plus I just use this! It's so beautiful on the skin. This product helps maintain a flawless complexion. This product works with all skin tones!

7)ABH "SULTRY PALETTE" - This palette is very versatile you can wear these looks everyday, but I just don't think its my colors, This would be my first time purchasing it, and I liked it but wasn't too impressed. The shadows are very pigmented and beautiful. I just don't think it's good for my skin tone- so I won't be re purchasing this again. I'm just going to stick with my neutrals and this product HERE

8) NARS "ORGASM INFATUATION PALETTE" - When I saw this I was like I have to have this now, because my all time FAVORITE blush is "Nars Orgasm." So when I saw the palette I had to have it. It comes with a bronzer and a highlighter. I wasn't too impressed with the bronzer, but I still like it. Plus, it' something easily to travel with.

9) HOURGLASS VEIL POWDER - This setting powder blurs the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles for an airbrushed finish. literally set my entire face with this powder, and then I use maybe like me "Airspun" to bake underneath my eyes. This product gives you such a beautiful finish, and I highly recommend it for people with dry skin because this is the only one I've found that works for my dry skin!

10) TATCHA "SILK CANVAS PRIMER" - This multitasking skin-protecting primer is for face, eyes, and lips. This product can  diminish the look of pores, fines lines, and imperfections for the perfect canvas before makeup. This is one of the best primers that I've tried and I've tried a lot! My makeup lasts so much longer when I use this primer. Works for all skin tones

11) NARS POWERMATTE LIP PIGMENT - These lippies y'all work the best! I love how they are matte and stay on for must of the day! This was a new purchase for me, and I decided to go with this shade "Tan Rose" and then I also got "Dusty Rose Pink." An innovative, weightless, matte liquid lip pigment with lasting wear.

My loves!!! I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to post a new blog post up in a little while. I've been soo busy, and not only busy but I got super sick last week! I ended up with strep and was sick & out of school for about 3 days. After that, it took me a few days to get my strength back up because I wasn't eating while I was sick. So, that definitely put me behind ALOT! Now I'm back with the BEST OF DRUG STORE products, this post might be a little long because I have a lot to go over with you guys. So, if you wanna grab some Chick-fil-A, coffee or a snack- go grab it and tune in.

So I'm going to start off by saying that I'm not accustomed to just "high-end" products. I have been buying makeup for years, and I truly believe that when it comes to cosmetics,  you get what you pay for! Don't get me wrong now, there are some amazing beauty products that I would prefer over "high-end" products ANYDAY, but that's very rare in my occasion. I honestly believe it all depends on you're skin type as well. I've never had problems with acne, or major break-outs. ( I truly got lucky) Of course I break out- who doesn't? But I do think that if you have problems with acne, you get better results with "high-end" products. Now, don't take my word for that because I'm no dermatologist. LOL! I'm just giving you my honest thoughts. So, basically what I'm trying to say is that rather a product is $10 or $45 if it work's then that's what I'm sticking with. So, I'm going to go over the BEST products that I've found that are super inexpensive!

Also, there is a lot of Maybelline products in this post, but only because I just really like Maybellines products. This is not sponsored at all!

PRIMER

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser || First up I have the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer. I saw a lot of Youtubers reviewing and using this product back when it first came out, and I never really gave it a try but when I did I LOVED it! The first time I used it I immediately saw a difference in my pores, it totally blurs them all out! It leaves your skin with more of a matte finish, and I don't really like matte. ( always been a dewy kind of gal) I usually use this in my t-zone and top it off with a different primer around the outside of my face. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth- literally feeling like "baby skin."

NYX Angel Veil Skin Primer || This product I would say might be for people more with oily skin. My skin tends to change during seasons so this is one of my go-to's when I'm getting oily. It gives you just a little radiant glow- not to were you're looking to dewy, but just like a inner glow. Ideal for creating a luminating effect on dark spots and uneven skin tones. I love using this product right before I do my make-up to give myself a nice satin finish. Another reason why I really love this product is that it lasts all day long! When I wear it before my make-up I don't have to worry if my make-up is going to start looking patchy because the primer is wearing off- you're good to go all day long! That's a major plus!!

FOUNDATION

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation  || This foundation right here has been one of my most precious foundations of all times! Lol. I'm kidding, but it is sooo amazing! I was super late jumping on this trend, everyone was using it and raving about it & I just never tried it out because I was faithful to my other foundations. When I finally tried it I was amazed! I'm a full coverage girl and this product is definitely full-coverage. It comes in 'Dewy" and "Matte" so you get the best of both worlds. I personally wear the "dewy" one. I have found that it best applies with a Beauty Blender rather than a brush. It's buildable if you feel like you need another coat, but honestly you really don't. I usually always build up my foundation, but with this one I truly believe that one coat is enough! If you haven't tried this product then you're missing out! You get sooo much more then what you paid for.

Maybelline Super Stay Stick Foundation || I know, I know another Maybelline foundation, but hey what can I say? If the products are good then, there good! Whether you're looking for a cream foundation or a contour foundation, this multi-tasking Foundation Stick has became a must-have essential in my daily makeup routine. I love this foundation mainly because it conceals, contours, highlights, and covers. On the other side of the foundation stick it has a pointed blender sponge that is perfect for applying you're foundation at home or touching up you're look while on the go. It's super full coverage and buildable! 

CONCEALER

Make-up Revolution Conceal & Define || I would say this product is basically a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape & that is my ALL TIME favorite concealer! There has been nothing that compares to that beauty, but when this product came out I was like- WOW! It's super creamy ( just like the Shape Tape ) and blends out flawlessly. The product is only $8 and you can get it in all types of different shades, allowing you to highlight and contour your face. I know some people don't really like using a concealer or foundation as a contour shade, but it really doesn't bother me. I love it!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind || I know this is a straight throwback, but I swear by it! I've been using this since it came out, and I always keep on in my make-up vanity. If you're trying to correct, conceal or just brighten then this is the product for you! It has goji berry and haloxyl which helps to erase the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. It also helps with my puffiness around my eyes, even if I just want to make my eyes look brighten in the morning I'll just throw a little bit of that on and that's it. 

POWDER

Maybelline Fit Me Powder || I originally found out about this powder threw a YouTuber names Nikki Tutorials and I'm one of those girls that goes out and buy's anything beauty influencers recommend- even if it's some burnt orange eyeshadow! LOL. I immediately tell my boyfriend "we gotta go buy this orange crease shade." So, Nikki swears by this powder so I knew that I had to get my hands on it, and man was she right? I choose this over my high-end translucent powders. This product will lock your concealer in there, and it won't move for the whole day and that's a promise! It looks so flawless and has like a satin finish. Every time I use this I always ask myself "why don't I use this product everyday?" It's amazing!

Coty Airspun Powder || Oldie but a goodie! This translucent powder has been around for a while! I wouldn't say it's as good as the Fit Me powder, but it does the job. If I'm broke, and can't go out and buy my high-end powders I just go to my local drug-store, and grab this. You get so much product for like $8. I do have to apply a lot more than the Fit Me, but after I finish my make-up I like to take just a little of this powder and pat it all over my face. It gives me a gorgeous finish! When I'm "baking" my face I usually let this powder sit for about 5 mins and then I sweep it away with a brush and it leaves the skin feeling so smooth, and when you top it off with some Setting Spray it just brings the whole look together!

BRONZER

Make-up Revolution || This is like your normal, everyday bronzer. It gives you that sun-kissed beautiful look, and it doesn't make you're face look "muddy" like most drug-store bronzers do. I'm not going to lie there's never really been a drug-store bronzer that I've just been completely obsessed over, but if I'm traveling and I forgot to bring my bronzers with me I just find a local store and go grab these.

Physicians Formula || I usually lean more towards this one. The formula is so buttery and as soon as you apply it to the skin- it instantly melts into you're skin giving you a tropical glow. Infused with a mixture of Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter and Tucuma Butter. It also has an essential fatty that conditions and moisturizes skin, giving you a soft and silky finish!

BLUSH

Milani Baked Blush- Luminoso || My holy-grail blush! What would I do without this beauty? Of course once again, I found out about this blush threw a YouTuber as well. Actually, there are tons of beauty influencers that swear by this blush. It has the right amount of buildable pigmentation and a subtle gold glow. I don't really like shimmery blushes, but I would say this blush has a tiny bit of sheen, but you can barely notice it. It usually lasts me for about 4 hours before I have to apply a little touch up- (which if you ask me- I'd say that's pretty decent for drugstore.) It reminds me of Nars "Orgasm" which is another one of my favs. So, if you like Nars "Orgasm" then you wont regret purchasing this product!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends || Although, these blushes have a sheen to them- I still love this blush palette. They have a wonderful pigmentation that leaves the skin looking natural and healthy. The different squares in the palette make's it so easy for you to find the perfect shade for you're skin. Depending on how dark I am at the time- sometimes I like to take my brush and just mix all of the shades together to get that perfect blush color. I would say these shades are more "darker" and actually is perfect for Spring or Fall. 

HIGHLIGHT

Maybelline Master Chrome || Okay, so I've never really found a good highlight that I'm just amazed by from the drug-store until Maybelline launched this beauty right here! There's a total of 4 different shades in this collection, but this is my all time favorite. It compliments my skin tone so well, and sometimes I find myself reaching for this more then more high-end highlighters. When it first came out, I think pretty much of the beauty community was raving about this product. The shade I use is Molten Gold, but they have a color for each skin tone, and that's what I love about it. Any skin tone, any person can use this highlighter! If you love a "glowing" highlight then you'll LOVE this product, it just gives you that perfect sheen look. I usually like to spray my whole face in setting powder first- then I apply my highlight. I feel when you put your setting spray on first, then highlight it gives it such a more vibrant look! Unfortunately, this is the only highlighter that I truly love from the drug-store, so I'm only going to post about this one. I don't want to put something else up that I personally wouldn't use. Ya know what I mean?

EYELINERS

NYX Liquid Liner || Were to start? Let's just say that I've tried numerous of eyeliners in my days. The main problem that I have is my "hooded eyes" I have some serious hoodies. LOL! This is been something I've struggled with my whole life- I have always hate my eyes! Mainly because it's so hard to find a perfect liquid eyeliner that doesn't transfer onto my crease area. (If you're reading this, and you have hooded-eyes you know exactly what I mean.) I also try to stray away from putting black in my water line (even though I love a good black water line) but putting black in your water line gives the illusion of a smaller eye, and I don't want that! So I always usually stick with a nude eyeline for the water line. This is the ONLY liquid eyeliner that I've been able to find that works perfect for my eyes. It gives me that thick black wing that I want- without running or transferring. It's long wearing so you don't have to worry about it smearing threw out the day. I will say that its very liquidy- so just be patient with it!!

I've had soo many trial & errors with eyeliner, but I will say the NYX and Revlon eyeliner pencils seem to work really well on my eyes for the water line. I don't have a specific shade or color that I tend to reach for more than often- I just usually look around and see what color looks the best! Like I said above I tend to stay towards a nude or even white liner, but these 2 brands have really good pencils and are pretty long wearing!

MASCARAS/LASHES

L'Oreal Double Extended Mascara || I started using this product when I was younger- I would sneak into my Step mom's makeup bag and use her mascara! OMG, now that I think about it I can't believe I used someone else's mascara, but I was young! LOL. So, this was my first mascara I pretty much ever used, and I have been using it ever since! I love how you get the 2 in 1 effect. So when your traveling you don't have to carry both a Lash Primer & Mascara, you can just throw this in your makeup bag & your good to go. The white side is such a good primer- it really lengthens your lashes to make them longer & thicker. I usually tend to reach for this pretty much everyday.

Kiss Lashes || When it comes to lashes I have to have a more natural looking lash. Don't get me wrong I think dramatic lashes are beautiful, but for some reason they don't look very appealing on my eye. They weight my eyes down giving them a droopy look. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way. These lashes right here look so natural (hints the name) There super easy to put on as well. I've found that sometimes I have trouble putting on some lashes or they just won't stick to my lash line- then I ruin my whole eye look and that can be frustrating!!!!! If your looking for a more natural looking lash, then you should check out this brand.

SETTING SPRAY

NYX Dewy Setting Spray || I'm not really going to touch on this too much, because honestly I am very picky about my setting sprays. I like when my makeup/powders melt together instead of looking all dry! Some setting sprays will just dry your makeup up! I've tried a ton of setting sprays and never was really impressed at all! I really like this one though, it doesn't make you look too dewy & doesn't leave a lot of glitter on your face! If you like a more matte look they do have other sprays as well that are just for a matte look!

A few other random things that I like are the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink (I'm actually wearing this is the shade "Driver" in photos.) I also love the Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer lippies as well- there more of a gloss. I like to use my Super Stay Lipstick & top it off with the gloss. 

All of my brushes that I use are pretty much from Morphe they have some amazing brushes & their super cheap!!!

10 Holy Grail Products For The Summer Time

Hello, my loves! We all know that summer is a pretty high-maintenance season. With all the sweet perks (beach vacations, long sundresses, beautiful evenings) and then comes the not so nice beauty challenges. Switching up your make-up routine can be very frustrating from time to time. Constantly feeling like each time you get you're make-up routine down pat, here comes a different season! So, today I'm going to share with you MY TOP 10 BEAUTY PRODUCTS that I can't live without during the summer. Some of the products that I'll be talking about in today's post are new and some of the products are older.


#1 Vita Liberata Body Blur || I don't even know where to begin with this product. This baby has been with me threw thick & thin, and it NEVER has let me down. I have very fair skin and when I go out in the sun, I don't tan much- I burn! I've tried numerous of self tanners in my years, and I always end up looking way to orange & streaky. The application process for this product is super easy, it blends together so smoothly and doesn't leave you with tons of streaks. It just gives you that beautiful natural, sun-kissed glow.


#2 Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obessions || I love this eyeshadow palette! The shadows are such beautiful colors- I love a more "natural look" for the summer time. This Eyeshadow Palette is packed with a selection of nine highly pigmented mattes and striking shimmers, all with a smooth and blendable texture. Available in four color themes. The palettes are super compact and lightweight, making them super easy to travel with, and also has a large mirror so you can apply while on the go. This versatile shade collection allows you to create both natural and extravagant look.

#3 Hourglass Vanish Stick || I've had this product for a while now, and honestly I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I always keep a back up one just in case! This foundation is 100% amazing! I'm not going to lie I didn't have high hopes for it because I've never really been a "stick foundation" kinda girl. This foundation is super long-wearing with full coverage. The formula is infused with double the amount of pigment versus traditional foundations. This foundation blends so effortlessly into the skin! It work's great with all skin types as well, wheather you have oily or dry skin. This product is a MUST HAVE! I don't know what I would honestly do if Hourglass ever discontinued it.


#4 Smashbox Water Primer || This is also pretty old, but it's perfect for the summer time. I love a good water primer in the summer. I don't like to have anything heavy on my face when it's hot outside- the goal is to feel like you have barely any makeup on. I usually mix this Primer with the Mario Badescu RoseWater Facial Spray. Both of these mixed together works great! It make's you're makeup application so smooth. It's so hydrating and leaves the skin feeling ultra-soft. It also delivers electrolytes that reawaken skin and restore moisture.


#5 ABH Liquid Lipstick || I'm a sucker for some red lipstick. I wear red sometimes in the winter or fall, but usually I stick to my red lipstick in the summer. My skin tone is very hard to find a good lippie for. I love a good nude, but I have such a hard time finding a nude that looks flattering on my skin tone. (If anyone has any recommdations, please comment down below) I have been using this red lipstick ALL SUMMER! In all my Instagram photos if I have red lipstick on- you can guarantee that it's "Kathryn."


#6 Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder || Hands down THE BEST finish powder there is. It is a little on the "pricey" side, but it's definitely worth it. I use this to set my whole face after I use any translucent powder for under my eyes. It acts like the finest cashmere veil on top of your skin for a bright, illuminating finish. Very hydrating on the skin throughout the day and blends on flawlessly.


#7 Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder || I've raved about this product before on my instagram, but I'm going to talk about it a little more. I bought this product, and for some reason I never used it, it just sat in my make-up vanity. A while back I pulled it out, and used it like a "primer" for highlight, and OMG!! I fell in love it gives you that gorgeous inner glow. So if you don't really like that kind of look, then this product might not be for you! It has became a MUST in my make-up routine. I'm not going to lie guys I literally drench my face in this right before I put my highlighter on. If you haven't tried this product, please do!

#8 ABH Amrezy Highlighter  || Highlight, highlight and more highlight. LOL. Who doesn't love a good glow, right ? This has been my ride or die product since it came out, and what's so crazy is "Gold Highlights" don't usually work out for me. The Amrezy Highlight is perfect for all skin tones, LITERALLY! I don't think I've met a single person who said a bad thing about it. It's super pigmented, you can either double the highlight to make it bling or you can tone it down and just add a little. There always sold out most of the time, but sometimes you can catch it online or in your local Sephora or Ulta store. Thank you Amrezy for this beauty!!

#9 Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick || My favorite step in my make-up routine, Contour. I always usually stick with cream products when it comes to my contour in the summer. This is my FAVORITE cream contour right now. It's actually a "Foundation Stick" but I use it as my contour shade. It's so creamy, and blends out perfectly. It gives my face a beautiful contrast look, and it stays on all day in this heat! Which is definitely what we're going for in the summer time.

#10 Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day || Last, but not least- Setting Spray. We all need a good setting spray after we cake our beautiful face! If you're not using a Setting Spray, then you should definitely consider it. There's times when my make-up will look "too cakey" but as soon as I drench myself in this spray it just brings the look all together. It helps you're makeup last much longer especially in this heat! Primer and Setting Sprays are so essential to you're makeup routine. There are a ton of setting sprays. Another good one is Morphes Setting Spray and it's very affordable.

Now that I have went over my TOP 10 BEAUTY PRODUCTS are there any good products that you recommend? I'm always on the look out for good new products.
