Happy Wednesday beautiful ladies! Can y'all believe that there's only 13 more days until Christmas?? Man, where does time go? I literally feel like we just started talking about all things Christmas and now it's almost over. I'm not even going to lie, I'm going to be so upset when it's over. This is my FAVORITE time of year! I'm just always in such a good mood, and always trying to do for others. I love being able to help others and do anything I can to help people. Don't get me wrong now I love to get some gifts, who doesn't??? But, my favorite is just being able to give gifts to others and spend time with my family. I'm so excited that I get to go home for the holidays. So I've been seeing so many people doing posts about these gorgeous holiday inspired outfits, and I thought "why not do something more casual and affordable?" Not everyone gets all dressed up for Christmas, some people just like to stay more casual.... (ME!) So I thought I would share this super easy outfit to re-create for the holidays. It still screams Christmas, but is more casual. If you have multiple houses to go to on Christmas Day and you just want to be comfortable- then this is PERFECT for you!

This cable crew-neck sweater is so perfect for the everyday wear! I don't usually shop at Gap that much, but when I was at the mall I was walking past Gap and I saw this sweater on display in the window and it caught my eye! I went in and picked it up and it was on sale so I knew that it was meant for me. I love pieces that you can wear so many different ways. My mom always told me "Shayna, buy clothes that you can wear different ways with people not even knowing that it's the same outfit." So that was always in my brain. This sweater is perfect for layering- I wore a regular buffalo plaid shirt underneath it, but it would be perfect by itself. It does run a bit small so I would size up if you plan on layering it. I got mine in a size MED, and it was a little tight with my plaid shirt underneath. It comes in 5 other colors as well.

I got these jeans on the same day as the sweater and they have quickly become one of my holy grail jeans. I don't really own any jeans that aren't distressed so I was aiming for just some regular denim jeans, but of course that didn't happen. LOL! It get's so cold up here that I can't wear distressed jeans everyday, but I LOVE them! When I found these I was like these are perfect. They are TTS and look so flattering on my hips. I love Express jeans. If you have problems with your hips or weight or anything like that (like I do) then these would be perfect for you. Not only are they a dark denim, so it's perfect for the holidays, but their perfect for an everyday wear. Like I said, I love finding pieces that you can wear multiple times. I'm wearing a size 4 Regular in these. The best thing about this entire outfit is everything in ON SALE! So, if your still trying to find something to wear for Christmas Day then I highly recommend going with something simple and cute like this.
